If you are new, you may find the following useful:-

WHAT'S AVAILABLE TO PLOTHOLDERS?

Regular free deliveries of grass cuttings and leaves (in season) wood chippings, logs and horse manure with bedding are made to most of the car parks on the site.  Help yourself to these from any car park, but please do not ask delivery drivers to drop things directly onto your plot.

STORES

There is a wide range of goods available in the Stores which is open on Sunday mornings, 10:30 till 12.

NOTICE BOARDS

I try to keep these updated with news.

PAVILION

The kitchen is well-stocked with tea/coffee/Barleycup/milk/sugar/biscuits/cold drinks.  Please leave a donation in the container provided.

E-MAIL GROUP

I send regular emails to around 60 of our plotholders.  Please give me your email address if you would like to be included.

WORK PARTY

Meets as and when necessary to do work around the site.  New guttering and boards have been put up on one block of lockers, the others will be completed later in the year. Please consider helping if you can.

CLEANING THE SITE

We are very grateful to the plotholders who give their time and effort to help keep our site looking clean and tidy.  Litter-picking, taking rubbish to the tip and toilet-cleaning are very important and much appreciated.  We know who you are, so........ thank you very much!

SHEDS AND GREENHOUSES

You will have the use of a shed, shared with another plotholder. You are allowed to erect a shed and/or a greenhouse on your plot.

WATERING YOUR PLOT

Council rules do not allow us to water our plots with a hose.  A hose can only be used for filling water butts (available from the Stores)

GROWN TOO MUCH?

We often find that we have grown more than we can possibly eat.  Friends and neighbours hide when they see us approaching with bags full of courgettes. There are a few things you can do with your unwanted produce -

  • Leave it at the front of the pavilion for other plotholders to help themselves to

                                                                      P1020516.jpg

  • Contact the Cats Protection (number on the noticeboard) who will use it to raise funds
  • Donate it to your local residential care home
  • Donate it to a Sikh temple (I can give you more details)

AND FINALLY.....

If you have any problems, please come and see me on my plot (54) and we will try to sort them out.  Alternatively, email me
